Message	surfaces have to be very clean before RTV is applied. other things to do in order of ascending cost: clean throttle bodies pcv valves and hoses knock sensor wiring harness 120k timing belt kit update to new style injectors if needed. just a few things that are hard to do later and easy to do now. that's not at all to say that there aren't more things you should think about doing now.
